Saturday 22-29 September 2018with Anna Corba and Charlotte Clement

About the Workshop

Artist and author Anna Corba is the creative inspiration behind Bonne Fete, which also features cooking demonstrations with Paris-trained chef, Charlotte Clement.

Anna colours the week with her love of French style, sharing her insights as well as vintage materials gathered from the local flea markets.  Well worn books, music scores, postcards, ribbons and lace will be transformed into handbound journals, tags and ornaments, as well as lavender sachets and sewn notions. Instruction will also include Anna’s signature beeswax technique.

Charlotte has established a reputation for the inventiveness of her cuisine and her passion for food brings her hands-on cooking demonstrations alive.   Her classes are peppered with gorgeous recipes, practical tips and anecdotes about her years of living in rural France.

This creative week is rounded out with visits to nearby food where you’ll taste and select ingredients for your cooking projects as well as visits to local fleamarkets, including the fabulous monthly antiques market in Toulouse, where you'll be able to purchase French treasures to use in the studio and beyond.   Return home with a cache of handmade goods and memories to last a lifetime.
